Delete your account and data

This page applies to the PunchMe (employees), PunchMe Manager and PunchMe Owner apps and the PunchMe website, all provided by Hostspica.

Employees (PunchMe app)

Your PunchMe account is created by your employer. To delete it:

1. Ask your employer's HR to archive your employee record in PunchMe. You lose app access straight away and your phone is unbound.
2. To have your personal data erased as well, email support@punchme.online from your registered work email with the subject "Delete my data" and your company name. We confirm with your employer and complete the request within 30 days.

Company owners, HR and managers (PunchMe Manager app and dashboard)

• Remove a team member: the company owner removes them under Team on the dashboard.
• Delete the whole company account: the owner emails support@punchme.online from the owner's email with the subject "Delete company account". We delete the company, its users and all employee data within 30 days.

What is deleted

Account and login details, employee profiles, attendance and punch records, location history, face templates, leave, expense and payroll records, uploaded documents and photos, device registrations and push tokens.

What is kept

• GST invoices, payments and billing records of a company account, for up to 8 years after the financial year they relate to, as Indian GST and income-tax law requires. Then they are deleted.

Field-tracking location history is also deleted automatically after 90 days, even without a request.
